The Bridging Worlds Story

In a world often divided by differences, we believe in the transformative power of connection, empathy, and storytelling. Bridging Worlds was born out of our personal journey as a mixed-race couple navigating diverse cultural experiences, professional challenges, and meaningful moments of growth.

Through this podcast, we aim to create a space where stories of identity, resilience, and belonging come to life—stories that connect us to one another and remind us of our shared humanity. Our relationship has been shaped by the richness of our backgrounds—Malcolm from Detroit and Amanda from Philadelphia—and our shared adventures, from cross-country city swaps to international trips like our engagement in Plymouth, England. Each of these experiences taught us the value of understanding, adapting, and embracing different perspectives.

Bridging Worlds isn’t just a podcast about us—it’s about the universal journey of connection. Whether you’re here to explore leadership, personal growth, or simply to enjoy the art of storytelling, we invite you to join us as we navigate the beauty and complexity of living in a culturally diverse world. Together, let’s build bridges, one story at a time.
